Infinity as a working method: dots, nets and rooms without end

Kusama has painted the same compulsion for seventy years. She left Japan for New York in 1958, was central to the happenings of the 1960s, returned home in 1973 and has lived voluntarily in a psychiatric institution since — walking to her studio each morning.
The Infinity Nets are the serious collector’s Kusama; the pumpkins are the ones everyone wants. Both markets are strong, and both are full of unauthorised objects.
We authenticate everything through the studio’s registration process before a work changes hands.
